Han Thi Thanh Tam
International University of Japan
Hi! I'm Han Thi Thanh Tam, but you can call me Tam. I am a third-year Ph.D. student researching economics, currently sponsored by the MEXT scholarship.
I completed my master’s studies under the ADB scholarship.
I am a government officer, working for the State Bank of Vietnam (Central Bank of Vietnam). After graduation, I will return to Vietnam to continue working for the State Bank of Vietnam. I also plan to keep doing further research and participate in conferences in the fields of economics and banking.
Shreyas Sharma
Hokkaido University
Hi! I’m Shreyas Sharma, a first-year PhD student researching biomimetic soft robots at Hokkaido University. I did my master’s study at Hokudai, partially sponsored by KDDI Scholarship, and currently, I am on the JST SPRING Fellowship for PhD students. I am passionate about humanitarian robotics and plan to continue in academia (either research or teaching) after graduation.

Hi! I'm Linh, a sophomore BA student at Nagoya University! I have been here in Japan for almost two years, and my studies and life in Japan are greatly assisted by the university’s G30 and JASSO scholarships. I really like my experience here in Japan as in both its deeply engaging culture as well as daily life! I am currently planning to continue my journey here in Japan after graduating.

Rafael Akira Tamashiro

Hi! I'm Rafael Akira Tamashiro, a 2nd-year MBA student at the International University of Japan (IUJ) in Minamiuonuma, Niigata. I have 3 years of experience in procurement and 5 years in education. My research focuses on leadership in developing and developed countries, aiming to identify who performs better and why.
I am grateful to be supported by IUJ and Mitsubishi for my MBA journey. After graduation, I plan to work in the education field to help develop children, increasing their opportunities and building a better future.

Hi! My name is Aira, a graduate student from the Philippines currently in my 2nd year of studying in Japan and I am taking up International Relations in the International University of Japan.
I have been sponsored by the MEXT scholarship under university recommendation and my academic focus is on cultural studies and everything that comes along with it.
During my free time, I crochet, read books and manga, watch anime and K-dramas, and travel a lot if time permits.
In the future, I want to work with international organizations and make a contribution.
